Floor Screed including First Floor
Established in 2006, Screedflo has rapidly grown to become the second largest supplier of free flowing screed in England. Unlike every other screed company, Screedflo only supply free flowing screeds, and control the whole process from binder supply through to final installation. This allows us to provide the best quality service and product to our customers.
Although originally established solely to supply larger commercial projects, we rapidly found that, because we could both supply and install the screed, we were being asked to screed one-off houses on a regular basis. Since those early days, the self build sector has become a very important and central part of our business.
As a specialist supplier, we take the view that our role is to ensure that when a customer is building their own house, we offer them genuinely impartial advice to help them make the correct product decisions for their property. If they then decide to employ us, the entire process from initial enquiry through to completing the project should be as simple and stress free as possible.
Central to this philosophy are our highly trained staff. Every member of the team has extensive technical product knowledge, and all the installation team have undergone a rigorous 6 month installation training programme. Consequently, our team can provide full technical assistance from the first customer phone call, through to pre-installation site visits and finally resolving any site based issues.
We also believe in using external independent auditors to ensure that we maintain quality. Consequently, all our products are CE marked, and all aspects of our business are certified to ISO 9001. Additionally, we are certified to ISO 14001, which means that we operate in a way that protects the environment as much as possible.
We are able to maintain full control of the service and product, by operating our own fleet of mobile screed batching plants. Although used extensively elsewhere in Europe, these vehicles are unique to us in the UK. They travel to the site with all the separate raw materials on board and actually batch the screed on site. The screed is then immediately pumped directly to where it is needed. This can be anything up to 150m away from the lorry. The whole process is computer controlled, ensuring that the customer gets correctly mixed, freshly batched screed. When the job is complete, we simply stop batching, so there is no waste, and no delays waiting for deliveries to arrive.
Our depot is situated in Essex. From here we can supply the whole of southern England, and into the Midlands. We also have a depot in Scotland.
