The show barn is now a blank canvas ready for a range of contemporary furniture and accessories to come in from Dwell.
Painting and Decorating

We’re now in the final phase of the build. The brick work on the outside of the barn has been finished off with an angled brick or brick plinth laid on the top course, with a lead tray tucked underneath the external boarding and lapped over the plinth to make the building weather tight.
Scaffolding down

One of the high points in any self build project is when the scaffolding comes down and this build is no exception. It’s great to see the outside of the barn revealed with all the Sunfold windows and doors in place and the external finishes complete.
Getting weatherproofed

With the winter weather becoming colder and wetter the priority has been to get the building completely waterproofed.
First Fix complete

You may remember that we stopped work on site for a while last month to open the Show Centre for another Open Event. This ran between 12 - 15th October and was a great success attracting nearly 200 visitors including the Mayor of St Neots, Cllr Barry Chapman.
